Rumor has it the Buffalo Bills are considering following their fan base to Cary, North Carolina. The team has seen a sharp drop in attendance over the last few seasons, due to New Yorkers’ migration patterns. Some people on social media estimate that more than half of New York has relocated to the suburban town dubbed by locals as the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.
Carolina Bills fans are known for causing quite a ruckus in North Carolina bars and restaurants every time locals decided to put the Panthers on TV. This past Sunday an anonymous Bills Fan told the Wake Tribune “I didn’t spend all this money to move down here to escape the cold and reduce my tax burden just so I could have shitty pizza and be forced to watch the Panthers play football!!!” The fan proceeded to go on a rant about how North Carolina is behind the times before leaving his waiter a 78 cents tip with a note telling the young man to get a real job.
